If I have added a name to a cemetery there is a 95% chance I have a photo. If I have not added the photo to the memorial send me a note and I will check for it.
I do not link people unless I know the information to be correct myself. I will transfer the memorial to you if it is not in my family.
Check out my unknown photos at genealogybug.ucoz.com Let me know if you recognize anyone.
thank you Sandra | |

 | RE: U G Auer Sandra,
I was not aware of a second marriage, but it certainly looks like you are right even though I could not confirm it through anything other than her death record. Grant was listed as a widower on the 1930 census, so they must have married sometime between then and her death in 1933.
I searched old newspapers all morning, but could find nothing in them about the second Mrs. Auer. However, I did find an article in the Edwardsville Intelligencer that revealed the circumstances of Grant Auer's death. He was a psychiatrist and committed suicide in his daughter's attic following a nervous breakdown.
Grant took his life the day before what would have been the first anniversary of his second wife's death. Coincidence? I was unable to find anything about her cause of death. She was only 46. I wonder what part that played in Grant's subsequent breakdown.
If you come across any additional information, I would really appreciate it if you would let me know.
Thanks, Lynn | | | Lynn Marie Vint
 | RE: U G Auer Hi Sandra,
Yes, memorial #42816367 for Dr. Ulysses S. Grant Auer was created by me. I did some research on him and added what I could find to his Find A Grave bio.
If you have additional information, or corrections, I would be very interested. I like my memorials to be as complete and accurate as possible.
Thanks, Lynn | | | Kathy Salazar
 | RE: Ada Duncan Johnson I didn't notice any other Johnsons near Ada but Graceland is a very old and sprawling section of the cemetery. If you know his first name it would be worth check the online burial locator.

 | Lep Harrison Thank you , after looking at the picture it does look different when made larger. Some markers are very hard to make out. A lot out there didn't have names. June | | | Clara "Tad " Pomroy

 | Doby Family I also took pictures of Bennett and Elizabeth Doby's stone. If you would like these pictures also just let me know. Just FYI, these gravesites are in the plot next to the Summerfield Methodist Church. There is another section a little farther down Tryon Road also called Summerfield Cemetery.
Thanks, Becky Walker Hunt
