Hi, Cousin. Yes, I am related, but not directly to Elbert's line. William W. Carter, Elbert B. Carter's brother, was my great-grandfather. In fact, my great-grandfather was the closest in age to Elbert, and named one of his children after him. I have done lots of research and have a tree on Ancestry.com and some other sites, but so far haven't found any living relatives in Uncle Elbert's line.
You said something about a picture. That is awesome. Would you be willing to share that with me? I have lots of pictures from my grandmother, William W's daughter, and have posted some of those into my family trees, but still have lots more work to do on them.
I would love to find out more about your side of the family. After Obedience and Elias, I have 3 children listed, and it stops there.
I just found your tree on Tribal Pages. I have one also (Jacob Carter's Clan). Would it be okay for me to message you through yours TP tree?
