I am a Shank by blood and married a Crider. Our families are tied together two ways. My 8th great aunt Barbera Schenk married Jakob Greitor in 1690. Jakob had a brother name Johan, Johan {John} is my husbands 7th great grandfather. We married in 1988 and tied the Shanks and Criders together again. I have been researching our families for close to 6 yrs, on and off. I love the hunt. The Shanks and Criders tie together in lots of other ways I am sure. I always new husband and I were soul mates.
