Hi, Jonathan. Are you related to her? My grandmother was her sister. Ethel Eudora Perkins Stern (1898-1983).

Possible Double Cousins
Jonathan, if your line came from Stephen Sr's last wife, Hester Oldham, then we would be double cousins through both the Sharp and Oldham lines. Hester Oldham's sister, Mary Oldham, was my 2nd great grandmother.

Christopher C Sharp Sr
Jonathan, thank you for transferring my 2nd great grandfather to me. Also, thanks for finding and photographing his grave marker. Are you related to my Sharp line? My line is from Christopher's 2nd wife and their oldest son, Austin William Sharp.

Thanks for your help.

Thomas Carpenter
Hello Jonathan, thanks for edits and asking but I am not related. I was researching some other Carpenters and trying to figure out dates for a Thomas Carpenter mem 123304463 also in Ohio. I sent your Thomas Carpenters dates and you should have them in your new edits tab at top right corner of your bio page. Did you know about it? I just discovered it. Let me know if you need me to send Thomas's dates again. thanks!

RE: Grave of John J. Jackson
Thank you! I love doing the research on these guys! Right now I'm trying to finish up a graves book on Mexican War veterans, but the 1812 vets are my favorite, so I'm always glad to research them.

Thanks again.

Thank you! And, yes, I'm interested in the Franklin Co. vets, also.

Grave of John J. Jackson
I live in Erie, PA and am working on a third volume of grave locations for veterans of the War of 1812. I would like your permission to use the picture you posted of John J. Jackson's grave in this compilation. He served from Erie County. I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.
