I have been working on family history for a long time and found Find A Grave a very useful tool. I have started adding to the effort in the hopes of helping others. In the process I am connecting family members posted by others. If you find a relative and you are more closely related than I am please let me know if you would like a transfer. I am hoping to connect all our family that is posted.|
I now work with my very best friend to add many more family members and friends along the way as we find them. We hope to add enough information to each memorial as to not have any mistakes in identities.

You are very welcome! I live in the area and am an amateur genealogist with a strong interest in those buried in area cemeteries.

I do have some Green on my Husband side of the Family Still working on it. But I'm glad you like the Picture and Flowers. Every Cemetery I go to I try to take Photos and I leave Flowers. As I work on a Cemetery I find Family.
Thank You for the Note.

I am working on documenting all the markers in Park Lawn. I hope to come across more of your family and will notify you if I post a picture to any of your memorials.
|Iaed||RE: Adams family of Iowa|
I've taken photos in about two dozen cemeteries in central and northwest Iowa and have found quite a few Adamses, so I'm not exactly sure which ones you are referencing, but thank you for the kind words. If you have found any memorials that I have created that do not have photos, I probably have them and can add them if you let me know which ones. Generally, I take pictures when the weather cooperates and post my work when it doesn't. If you would like transfers of any that I have created, I am happy to do that--not related to any Adamses that I know of.

Thanks for the corrections.

Made the changes after reading info on Pilgram's Rest Cemetery. I am also going to the Creator of William Haxtun 1860-1940 so she can add Maria and William as the parents of William Haxtun Jr, My 3rd cousin.

Thanks for the correction. I made the change.

|Martha Beswick||RE: Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery|
Sorry - Posting these proves a bit confusing... Most all the existing memorials already have "Hopewell Cemetery" noted and photographed. From someone's post, I understand that the "Pilgrim's Rest" runs from the church to the first "road" west of the church in the cemetery. Most ALL the pics I took the other day were of/in this ancient area, So my guess is that they all should be "Pilgrim's Rest"? Also my apologies for duplicating existing memorials - I tried to look them all up, but sometimes my search parameters didn't find the existing memorials. I go out to find 16 graves sites per requests and get caught up in numerous other stones of the same family name. The posting of all these becomes cumbersome. Again, sorry for my mistakes. Martha
