Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on genealogy since 1987, the day of my father's funeral to be exact. A letter arrived that day from whom is now a much loved distant cousin from a family branch we never knew existed. Needless to say I was hooked and wished ever so much that my father had been there to read that letter. It would have thrilled him no end. I am handicapped and no longer drive so I can't take photos anymore but when my daughter is old enough to have a car and drive we will be back out there helping take those photographs whenever we can. She loves to find graves and she loves to take pictures. A big plus for me! We make a great team.

Thanks for the work you've done!
I am 3rd great-granddaughter of Decatur Buker (and Lucy Marie Barnard), through his son Dr. Scott Hilton (and Linnie Dawson).

I have recently become interested in geneaology, and just appreciate the efforts you've put into this, so much! It was so wonderful to see the headstones so well photographed, from half a country away.

RE: Heinrich Rodenbeck
If your message was intended for me, I'm sorry to disappoint but I do not keep photos once posted to their memorials. I'm not certain, however, you meant to address me as you referred to me in your message as "cousin." :)

Possible Relative..doing some investigating...
My name is Sadie. My mother is Pamela Hardin (Horn), daughter of Carole Horn (Buker) and Jerome Edward Horn. Grandma Carole's grandfather was Charles Livey Buker.
For years now, I've been doing research. However, I feel I've been getting no where. Until now...
Maybe you are someone to us. Are you? :)
I have a daughter (2 1/2 yrs) of my own now. And this search has become very important to me!! Grandma Carole passed her excitement of genealogy down to me...and I hope to continue the quest for her...and so on...
If you have any information, or not...I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

Heinrich Rodenbeck
Jan~ Have re-sent my message to you dated Nov 11 as I don't think you've received it or trusted it was safe. It will come from a gmail address (don't want to put email address in a public forum) and is the subject is RODENBECK Headstones - Martini Lutheran Cemetery. It's safe. Double check your spam folder just in case.

RE: Rodenbeck - Martini Lutheran
Jan~ I took photos of every legible Rodenbeck gravestone found in Martini Lutheran. I have learned since that Heinrich's stone is there and I did look at it but could not decipher the engraving so didn't realize it was a Rodenbeck. Now that I know what to look for, I will take a photo when I go back. You might submit a photo request for the stone as a reminder. His stone is several stones away from Wilhelmine's. YW.

Wilhelmine Rodenbeck photo request
Your photo request for Wilhelmine Rodenbeck has been filled. I also took photos of other Rodenbecks I found at Martini Lutheran Cemetery.

Bertha Bohner

Your message:
Hi, this is a duplicate memorial. The other has a different picture but it does have her death date. It would be wonderful if the 2 memorials could be merged together so that both pictures would be available and then if it could be linked with her husband that would put the icing on the cake.
Other memorial is # 119105174
Her husband's memorial is # 6874116

I checked and linked Bertha.s husband for you, If you would like the duplicate deleted than contact Leigh Lombardi, she created the duplicate 2 1/2 years after mine was created..
