Why do you think William McKnight and maybe his wife Sarah Knox Henry were buried in the Dixon cemetery? I'm GGG grand daughter of William.

Hello from Washington State
I am married to an Estabrook and was intrigued that there is an Estabrook Cemetery in Maine, along with an Estabrook Settlement (at least on the map).

Could you and WOULD you please give me some history of these two places. I have traced my husband's family back through Johnathan Robbins Estabrook to Thomas Estabrook. We're probably related somehow.

I would certainly appreciate any historical background! This is just fascinating!

Thanks so much for any info you would be willing to share.

I have looked everywhere in dixon. Do you know if they have a headstone. Are you related to any other McKnights that night be buried there? There are several McKnights buried there but none with William on them.
