|I spend alot of time doing family research and love it. It is more than gathering names, dates & places but also a way of getting to know these people from where we came. If there is anything from Anchorage, Alaska that you are looking for, please let me know and I will try to help.|

|Jennifer ||James Gordon|
112410192 memorial for James Gordon shows he does have a gravesite. It also attaches his first wife. Can the two memorials be combined? 57260418. Not sure how it works.

Hi Donna, I just tried another email to your Donna144@gci.net. I looked in my gmail account spam and trash for your responses to my first two emails, but could not find them. My gmail is firstname.lastname@example.org. Not sure why this happening.
Donna, I sent you a couple emails with some Honig info I had. Did you get them? They had attachments, so they may have gone to junk mail.
I believe we may be related, through the Hoenig/Honig line. My great grandmother, I believe was the sister of the Carl Hoenig that you show as Adel, Minnie and Theresa's father. I have the Naturalization record for Adel, which gives an exact DOB. I would be very interested in comparing notes. I also have birth records on Minnie "Maria" and Theresa. I have not yet found the birth record for Adel, but I'm still looking.

I put in a photo request. Hopefully someone can get a photo. Some cemeteries don't allow, or it's like pulling teeth.

Good Woman Gone To Her Great Reward
Died at Ripe Old Age of 82 years; Lived at Wetumpka, Okla.
Mrs. Fannie Townsend, aged 82 years, died at Wetumpka, Monday, February 29th, at the home of her son, Ace Townsend. Mrs. Townsend was a sister of Mrs. A. Fuquay, of Broken Bow, and Mrs. S. E. Theobolt, of Valliant. Following is a write-up of Mrs. Townsend's death which was written by her brother, J. B. Westbrook, and published in the Wetumpka Gazette, Friday, March 4th:
"Mrs. Fannie Townsend of this city passed away Monday at 11:25 a. m., at the home of her son, Ace Townsend, of this city.
"Mrs. Townsend was the widow of Rev. T. J. Townsend, who departed this life just a little more than a year ago.
"Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Westbrook, parents of Mrs. Townsend, were among the first settlers in Howard County, Ark. Mrs. Townsend was one of a family of 16 children, all own brothers and sisters. This family remained on the same place in the same house until twelve of them were grown, seven boys, five girls. Am proud to say they all, at an early date in life, with the exception of one, embraced the hope in Christ, remaining in that hope until this good hour. Two of them were Missionary Baptist preachers, also the baby boy, a Freewill Baptist preacher; one of the boys a deacon of the Freewill Baptist church. The father was 81 when he departed this life and the mother not quite so old. The oldest child now living is 84 years of age and the baby boy now 57 years of age. Bud, the second oldest boy in age was an evangelist minister. In 1931, last April, plowing all day long, he came in at night telling his family there was nothing could be done, his time was at hand. He had to go, passing out the next day.
"Sister Fannie Townsend has lived a devoted Christian life around 50 years, age 82. The Funeral services were held at the Wetumpka cemetery, March 1, 1932 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, conducted by Rev. Coggins, Freewill Baptist, who was the first pastor of the church to which she belonged around 48 years. Brother Coggins was assisted by Bro. Stewart of the Weleetka Missionary Baptist Church, reading a chapter and commenting. Prayer by Bro. Luther Coffey.
"Brother Coggins was among the first ministers in the State of Arkansas and was devoted these many years and is now still working faithful as ever at the age of 84 years, living at Blanchard, Okla.
"Mrs. Townsend leaves two sons, Ace and Tommie by the union with Rev. Townsend and a _________ Frankie Ryan by a former marriages. Also two stepdaughters, Mrs. Dora Choat and Mrs. Ada Tims, daughters of Rev. Townsend by a former marriage, and a host of other relatives and friends, to mourn her loss.
May the God above bless the world over and be with you all 'til we meet again.
J. B. WESTBROOK AND WIFE."
