Thank you for letting me know. I have deleted my memorial for him. Thank You.

Just wondered about this request you put out there. It says right in the plot number that there is no marker and was wondering what you wanted me to do with it then? Did you want a photo of where she's buried without a marker?
Just let me know...I'll be more than happy to go find her.

Hello! Thank you for the nice note. Just wanted to let you know I'm not related to the Snyder Co., Pennsylvania people I have created memorials for, so I'm no help in comparing notes. Best of success on your research.

Your husband is in section T, #314. There is a map at the cemetery entrance. Section 8 is to the right (where the road first splits). Stay on the road as it circles left & it's on the right side (next to 9 & across from 11).

I think that the creator of many memorials in St. Edward Cemetery is inactive. Perhaps you would have better success sending your requests to email@example.com. They may not transfer the memorials but they will do the links. At least, they did the links for me when I requested them. I did tell them that I believed the creator was inactive as he/she is non-responsive.
Yes, Detroit it a good place to be from - away from that is! My dad lived there all his life. How it changed in the ninety years he was alive and how much more it's changed in the nine years since his death! Just in the last two years, his neighborhood went from a nice one to being about fifty percent boarded up! So many homes lost to foreclosure! I was so surprised when I drove through it this summer. The gal who bought my dad's house is still hanging in there, though. The house looked well cared for, which was nice to see.
I'll check out your husband's childhood home again when I next go to the cemetery. Interesting that it was moved!
Winter is on its way back! High temperatures in the low twenties on Saturday! Brrr. I'm staying inside as much as possible.

I also sent corrections for Patrick's memorial! I probably should have mentioned that to you so you didn't have to do it. I try to do an edit whenever I notice that the memorial doesn't match the marker photo that I've added. There are a lot of needed corrections to memorials in Saint Edward Cemetery!

I'm not really familiar with Mendon. Mostly I drive through it! I've learned more about it in recent years. I did census work there in 2010. I do know where the house is that you mentioned since it is right by the cemetery. I grew up in Detroit but my husband is from the area.
Glad I could get the photo for you. Let me know if you want me to take any more for you!

I went out to the cemetery twice to get the photos. The first time I chickened out as it was just too cold to walk through the cemetery even though it's a rather small one. I thought I might be able to see a marker from the road but I couldn't.
Today was a little nicer - temperature around 38 degrees but little wind. I was able to walk through the cemetery; although, I got cold towards the end. I probably won't be doing many more photos until spring now!
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and will have a wonderful Christmas!
