Please be patient with me if I am slow to respond to any of you. I sincerely apologize. My life is just very busy and it is difficult to devote the time I would like to with FindAGrave. I am still active and will reply as soon as possible. Thank you everyone! :-)|
It has been said that the character of a person is the only thing that will walk back from the grave into the hearts of the people who knew them. We should all live to achieve such a goal.
I'm married and we have 2 children and one child in heaven, Dustin Alan Woods 1990 I have also been blessed with a huge family. I have 9 brothers and sisters & 21 nieces and nephews. |K. Hyland Smith||Gilmore W and Elizabeth (Dressler) Shirey|
I would like permission to use the monument photos of Gilmore and Elizabeth Shirey in my private family tree.
I would of course credit you for posting them.
Elizabeth is in my Dressler lineage. (Her parents are John Dressler Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Gelnett)who are buried in the Dressler Cemetery, Home Camp, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania)
She was married first to James L. Flegal with whom she had seven children and then second to Gilmore W. Shirey. She and Gilmore were married about 37 years before he passed away.
Thanks so much for your consideration.

|wendyramsey||RE: Goss Cemetery West Decatur|
Maybe what is happened is that both cemeteries being named the same are showing as the one in Osceola. I was horrified to see that the mines were all around it ...thinking it was gone, but then happy to see they went around it. I want to research that mansion ( well the family), if you hear any other names will you let me know? I heard stories but I am so terrible with remembering names. Do you know if the "Old Goss Cemetery" was also the same as the Kephart cemetery? I am trying to find the Kephart one and cant seem to locate it.
I see you have listed photos in the Goss Cemetery that are in a different Cemetery off Drane Hwy in West Decatur. I also have pictures of these and I am researching the people. Do you know what the name of the old Cemetery in West Decatur was called? Also, there was once a mansion at the bottom of the hill near that cemetery, do you know by any chance whose that was? I have an old map but am having a hard time placing.

Good Afternoon Sherry:
I was browsing through Find-a-grave and noticed that you had entered information about my father, John Edward Wick. I was wondering how did you obtain this information to do the listing? You mentioned about transfering ownership of the listing. Could you transfer this to me in this case please?
Richard T. Wick
