I guess I was about 7 or 8 yrs old when I first remember my dad taking me to cemeteries to trace our roots. Now I am an addict to genealogy and cemetery hunting!!! (I think it is from the Mingo Swamp water!!) So if you need something from Stoddard Co., MO, I will do what I can.
This is a wonderful website it has helped me leaps and bounds in my personal genealogy quest!
I like to transcribe entire cemeteries so loved ones can be found, mine & yours. So most of the memorials I post I am not related to. If you see a relative or someone close to you that I have posted & wish to manage there memorial, please just holler & I can transfer it to you as long as I am not related.
I have posted many photos on this site & anyone may use them for there family tree. If you make a million off one of them, please at least buy me dinner.
If you see a mistake or just have more info just leave me a message or E-Mail me. I will be happy to add the info for any additions or corrections.
A question has been asked several times here lately. "Why do you put 'Bio Info Coutesy of' & link that person to the info?" Well I like to keep track of my sources & who sent me what for whom. Also it gives that person the credit for all the hard work they have done. If you do not want your name attached to a memorial that you have given me info on, please just tell me & I will not attach it.
Please do not get upset if I do not answer your messages & e-mails right away. I get anywhere from 25 to 75 messages & e-mails everyday. I try to answer them all quickly but some take longer than others, but I will get to them!! Currently I am working on messages, requests & transfers from Sep 2012.

Hi Brent,
I was wondering if you would be able to transfer the Dowdys that you have added to Memorial Gardens in Malden Mo. Dunklin Co. I have a lot of information for these memorials and as busy as you sound it might be easier to transfer than having you add all of it. These memorials are directly related to me, great grandparents, grandparents,aunts, uncles and cousins. folling are the memorial markers: Hershal D. 26985623; Hershal A 26985692; Angeline 26985654; Fannie L. 26985183; James T. 26985158; Sara B. 26985228; and Virgie Marie 26985635. The others are related also but have been added by someone else. Thanks for all you do on this site and keep up the hunting.....

I am sure you can say I have become addicted to research as well! I am a great granddaughter of Calvin Hurley. My grandfather was James Walker. He was a brother to Jordan J Thomas Hurley. I am greatly confused on Calvin's wives. I do not find one for James Walker (who I did not ever know) He was born in 1852. The first wife we find record for was Martha J Smith in 1860. We find "Jane Russell listed as Jordan J Thomas' mother. Do you know or have you corresponed with anyone who might know if these 2 could possibly be the same person?

Yeah I saw that Edwards maiden name for Rines mother but don't think she was part of our clan. Found no record of her in our tree.
