Bio Photo Please have compassion for others and if you cannot reply in a positive way, then don't reply at all.

My husband lost his battle with esophageal cancer Nov. 2014, his memorial # 139923728.

I will put in a blanket THANK YOU here for all who do my edits/corrections; I submit too many edits and corrections to open and reply to each one, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate your time and effort in doing them.

We are all fighting our own private battles and don't need the negativity. If I don't thank you promptly, please don't be harsh. I always thank volunteers as soon as I can. Please be kind in your messages to everyone on the site.

** From Wichita, Manhattan, and Wamego, Kansas, living in Dallas, TX area (Garland, Sachse, Caddo Mills, Celeste) since 1982. My paternal ancestors came from Ireland (Conley/Etchison/Loy/Grimes) and my maternal ancestors from Switzerland/Germany/England (Shoup/Brandon/Elledge/Boone) who migrated to Kentucky/Tennessee then to Kansas. Daniel Boone is connected in our Brandon family line.

My husband's paternal ancestors (Siebert, Schmidt) were Russian Mennonites from Karolswalde region, Russia who migrated to Pawnee Rock, Kansas in 1875 to avoid religious persecution and brought with them the Turkey Red Winter Wheat to the U.S. His maternal ancestors immigrated from France (Breault, LeBlanc) to Kankakee, Illinois, then to Clyde-Clifton, Kansas, a French community.
