Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I walk cemeteries mainly in Warrick Co., Indiana photographing markers. I have been contributing memorials & headstone photos to Find-A-Grave to help fellow researchers that are unable to visit their relative's gravesite in person. I hope the information/photos I provide is of some help to others in their genealogy research.
Please note that I do NOT include photos of headstones that do not have a death date inscribed and the birth date indicates the person could be still living. I WILL NOT post obituaries unless the deceased is a direct relative of mine and I will not post obituaries that contain names of living family members.
The information submitted is the information that is shown on the headstone, cemetery listing, death record or in the obituary. If I've posted a record that needs to be corrected or updated, please use the "Edit" function to let me know and I'll be glad to correct/add the information.
If the person is your DIRECT family member (according to Find A Grave guidelines), and you would like me to transfer the memorial to you, please let me know. If that person is NOT directly related to me and they are directly related to you, I will be glad to transfer the memorial to you. Please use the "Edit" function and include your Find A Grave member I.D. number.
If you would like to request linking family members, again, please use the "Edit" function to let me know.
If requests are e-mailed directly to me instead of going through Find-A-Grave, there is a good chance it will be deleted without being read if I don't recognize the sender or if there is no reference to Find-A-Grave in the subject.
Many thanks for the kind notes, and also the flowers which have been left on memorials.

UPDATE - JUNE 2012: Due to health issues, my husband and I will no longer walk entire cemeteries to photograph markers.

Just found a 4 great-grandfather because you were kind enough to take a photo of his headstone! Not sure how often you go out to Selvin Cemetery. I was wondering if one or both of his wives were buried there also. Thankful Lisle or Sarah Lisle? Amazing that I can see this headstone from my home in AZ.

Grave Stone Pictures
18929838 Ex of your excellent pics. I'm so disappointed to find poor quality pics from several volunteers in Warrick & Spencer County after seeing all your hard work. Plus seeing pics from all over the states on findagrave this past yr and never came across blurry and discolored pics or "partial" stone pics with only the info and not the whole stone. I like to take pics like you do. Always the whole stone with base. And a close up if old and hard to read with a full view. If someone wants to crop a pic to just include the info, they can. But anyone who wants to see a stone, wants to see "the stone". I can appreciate all the hard work and time people have put in, but I'm finding myself taking pics other than ones for photo requests and missing on findagrave while I'm at cemeteries to provide full view or stone or a clear one if blurry for ex's. Thanks again for all yours and your husb's hard work with findagrave. dg
