I am a widow,I have three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a little Bischon, Minnie.
I love to travel, but mostly I love genealogy.A friend told me about Find A Grave and I am very
pleased. I have been researching my genealogy since early 80's and that encludes the names of Shipman,Bowers,Schoby,Martin,Brelsford,Lamb,Davis
Roberts,Sidner.

I grew up in Madison Co, Ohio and most of my relatives were from Madison,Union, and Franklin Co.

I don't have Minnie anymore, I had to have her put to sleep.

James Jamison at Old German Cem
Iva- There aren't any tombstones at Old German Cemetery. In fact, there isn't any Old German Cemetery. Around 1900, Greensburg prohibited further burials within town limits. After that time, the cemetery became run down and overgrown and many people removed their ancestors bodies to other nearby cemeteries, including Brush Creek, Feightners, Harrolds, Hillview, St Clair and others. Around 1940 the property was cleared and turned into a playground, and in more recent years it became a parking lot. - Bill

Hi Iva,

Your so very welcome. I take the pictures as they are and don,t rub the stones. Hope I've been of some help to you.

It is on the memorial page. I deleted the other picture and replaced it with the one I took this morning.

Slightly better picture today. Does it look OK to you? I guess I could try to wash the stone to get a better picture if you want. Let me know. . .

I need to go back there in the morning or at noon. The sun was setting and I had a hard time keeping my shadow out of the picture! I'll try to get a better picture for you.

There is no Lewis in my Thomas family line. My grandfather was Richard "Dick" Thomas.
