The picture you see is from a recent trip with my father to South Dakota, his aunt Grace Hagedorn Wojahn passed away. I went along with and after we visited the graves of many family members including my great great grandparents, John and Julia (Thompson) Erickson.

He is buried there but doesn't have a marker. The county historical society had this partial obit:Obituaries of People Buried at the County Farm (pre 1924)
