when I was about 8, my dad gave me a little brownie camera. I am wondering if he knew your dad. According to his paperwork, he was a Dentist. Clyde Edward Darst. yes I have been to the Moosburg site. Trying to contact people that their dads mentioned him.

My Father, Clyde Edward Darst, was also at Moosburg. He was captured and was put into a boxcar with other men. Little food and clothes. They were beaten. When I was about 10 he gave me a little brownie camera. He too had a ring with his name scratched inside of it. I had it and lost it. He had PTSS. I didn't know it until I was alot older and looked back on my childhood. He was very over protective. He was never mean. And he could never say no to us. We did everything as a family. He would bring home dogs and pen them up in a fenced area and only feed them potato peels. I have a paper that he submitted to get some medals. I will find it. Keep intouch. Debbie Schaeffer. I am on facebook.
