That would be great! I sent you an email, and my email address can be seen on my Findagrave Profile. Looking forward to hearing from you.

No I do not have access to these records. I wish I did. It would be nice if they could be posted on the memorial. There seems to be many descendants seeking that information. Thank you for all of your help!

Hello. Thank you for creating and uploading the photo and information for this memorial. It says that her parents were James and Ann Walker. I was wondering what is the source of that information, if you know. I am trying to trace her lineage and can find nothing about her parents aside from this statement on her memorial. Thank You!

I found your info on William Watkins service in the Civil War. What great information from Find A Grave. Would like to reconnect with you on our common family ties.

Happy to hear from you Janice. Sadly I'm still looking for Peter Mosley & Rachel (Caylor) Bruce's graves also. I've haven't even seen any positive evidence of when either died. Please let me know what your source on Peter's death was.
Like you, I have seen the 1900 census listing them as living with Albert Bruce's (my great grand father's)family. I can only imagine that Peter & Rachel told stories to my grandmother Dora (misspelled Dorah in the census) who was 8 at the time of the census. I am hoping somebody still has a picture of Peter & Rachel.
I am planning to visit the Basin Springs and Whitesboro cemeteries someday and hope to find some answers.

I think there might be a typo. Her memorial says she died 26 June 1870, but her tombstone says 26 July 1870. Thank you for your contributions to Find a Grave memorials.

sure that would be great, my father said the family never knew anything about her family other than that she was Cherokee :)
