Bio and Links
I am a writer and lecturer of history - mostly about Mary (Todd) Lincoln's life and times. My areas of expertise include the Todd family, 19th century fashion, and women's history.

History has always fascinated me, and family history is a passion. Most of my ancestors were from Scotland and Ireland. Most settled in Ohio River communities along the shores of southern Indiana in Jefferson and Clark Counties. My goal is to someday write about my own family and the struggles of the Scots/Irish people who settled the Ohio River Valley.

Some of the surnames included in my family are: McCreary, Beach, Bruce, Hay, Getty, Bladen, King, Ellis, Lyons, Hardy, and Stalsworth.

RE: Means bios
Ruth Alexander's name is still not quite right. I may have told you wrongly in my previous message. Her middle name is "Lorine" and her maiden name is "Means". Thanks for another correction. Jim

Re:Samuel Boyd
Hello! Donna

Good Saturday Afternoon!
Please send all corrections and additions thru edit.

It takes time to have to search for a memorial #.
I did though in this case,I went in thru "Begin a new search" and he didn't come up for me. I have so many requests that it takes me a month to take care of them all.

Janet

Getty linking
Hi again!

Sorry to be so much trouble but would you link Jane Getty and Eliza Ann Getty (both buried at Carmel) with their parents Ann Hay and James Andrew Getty? Also would you link William Hay Getty with them? I have located Isabelle and Caroline Getty and linked them. I am asking that Martin Van Buren Getty be transferred to me so I can link him to his parents. Then I think all the Gettys will be linked---I hope.
