Find a Grave is one of my favorite websites. It is a great community of volunteers where much good is done everyday.
I live in Virginia in the Hampton Roads area. I am a librarian by profession. Looking back, I think I've always been interested in genealogy and research, even before I realized it myself.
I'm especially excited about and involved in descendant research. If the person on one of my memorials is related to you, please drop me a line so we can help each other. Most likely we are distant cousins!
I'm more than willing to look at transfers, especially if you are related. If you can, please request changes through the edit tab to avoid confusion.
A few of the family names I'm researching include Robinson, Sherck, Bauer, Hillix, Mieir, Hollister. | |

 | Anna M Engel (Hartman) Gockerman Thank you very much for the transfer of Anna's memorial, added info and linked her to her parents again thank you. | | | The Bull
 | RE: Wheeler They are about 6 or so rows behind the cemetery gate shot on the main page. There are 3 entrances turn into the second road from the right. Then walk towards the gate, they are front of tall monument with the name Capt John Johnson. I did not see any more Wheelers when I was there but I will let you if I do. Be very careful if you go, it's not the safest area. Of course transfers are coming your way.
Just out of curious, how are you related?

 | RE: Shroyer His World War I Draft Registration Card gives full date of birth. 1900 federal census give month and year. Did you try David Ervin rather than Ervin David? | | | Mike Louden
 | RE: Moorman Yes, Mary Ann Adair Moorman was married on Aug. 12, 1828. Sorry about the error!

 | Mary F. Brandal Melanie,
I just transferred her memorial to you since you created a duplicate. I couldn't delete it since it was originally created by Shirley. You can use her older memorial or petition find a grave to have hers removed. Before doing that I would check with the person who left a flower so they know what is happening and their sentiments are lost.
Thanks for being a part of find a grave. CindyAdded by Cindy on Feb 05, 2013 3:13 PM | | | @ngel
 | RE: Stevens You are very welcome. I also took a photo of the family stone although I haven't had a chance to post it yet. So glad that I could help.
