I was bitten by the Genealogy Bug in 2002 when my Grandfather handed me a book containing everything that had been uncovered for the Kelley side of the family up to that point in time. I watched on as he signed and my mother translated memories of his family, and I hung on to every word.|
It was the last time I saw him alive.
I try to help others discover their roots whenever I can. I have been helped countless times by kind individuals and their kindness has helped me uncover things that I am unable to do from a distance. I am a mother of five kids and one angel and am not ashamed to say that I use my "mommy time" passes at the library, searching for more answers and people who make up mine and my husband's family trees.
My heritage is primarily Mexican, German and Scott-Irish.
I am also a photographer.

Hello Sasha --
Could you tell me if you know any more details about Daniel Laughlin (born 1835 in Ireland, married to Catherine Malloy, and buried in St. Joseph New Cemetery in 1908)?
I am a descendant of James Laughlin, also born 1835 in Ireland (son of John and Mary) and also buried (1899) in St. Joseph New Cemetery.
I am trying to puzzle together the Laughlin relations buried at SJNC and don't know if the James Laughlin and Daniel Laughlin born the same year may have been cousins?

Hi Sasha, It's been awhile since I've conversed with you. Hope the children are doing well. I have just come in position of some Eisenhauer photos which I have added to some of your memorials. Just thought you might be interested. Take care and thanks for all your work on findagrave. Beverly Ackermann Jobe #46998330

my what a pleasure to meet a cousin in my second most favorite state in the U.S.
I was thrilled to find your link to Rachel Jones.
She was my great grandmother on my dads side.
My father was Claude Lee whose father was Noah Elmer who was her sixth child.
My father died 31 years ago on jan. 12th and my mama just passed away last week on the 15th of Jan. Which makes my ancestry information all the more precious to me, to compile for my children and future grandchildren. i have always thought that it is important to learn where you came from. And I have a bit of information on his side of the family, but not alot of connections to living relatives. So i was thrilled to find out that i have texas family that is also interested in ancestry. I was thrilled also to see the picture of Rachel as i had never seen any pictures of her or any of her children other than my grandfather who died in 1951 long before i was born. i think my mama only had 1 picture of him as a child.
sorry this message is so long, i'm just a little emotional this week.

I just wanted to stop by and say Thank you for leaving flowers for my Dad, Leonard Eugene Goodwin, your kindness is much appreciated.
Thanks so much for visiting my Dad's page, it means so much to me! Lots of love!
I find this very interesting. I know very little about my family. My grandfather was Melvin Jake Lux which i knew very well. His father was Albert Walter Lux which I know nothing about. I was trying to kinda learn a little about my family. My father was an only child and never knew or have heard about any of grandfathers brother or sisters. So Kinda just trying to figure everthing out.
