| Bio and Links | I am very interested in preserving gravesites. It has always been an interest of mine. I am researching the names Hays, Oliver, Fairchild, Branscum, Chadwick, Hunsaker, McDonald. If you might be able to help me or think I can help you, please feel free to drop me a line. We can compare info.
The vast majority of my memorials are direct ancestors of my own. However, there are a few stray memorials that I take because they are a name I'm researching but haven't linked to our ancestry. If these people are YOUR ancestors and you'd like ownership to provide additional information and so on, please let me know. I try to be very thorough with everything that I post, from the memorial itself to the biographical information I post to leaving a flower for that person. I do credit research sources that I use when applicable.
I LOVE family research. I have spent countless hours and countless dollars researching these family trees. I enjoy sharing my research, but please credit me for the research. If you notice any errors, please let me know.
Lastly, and it pains me to even have to say this, do NOT use the flower feature to leave abusive messages! If you need to say something to me, leave me a message on my profile. This is rude and disrespectful to the person who's online grave you're defacing. Do not intentionally duplicate memorials. Ask me for a transfer. If it's within guidelines (and sometimes even when not), and you ask politely, odds are you'll get it. Let's all play nicely. :) | |

Sarah Jane Hayden was my gggrandmother. I am on the line George washington Hayden his son is my Grandfather. My grandmother Martha Shelton told me a story on these sister my gggrandfather John Hayden was raised by a family mattingley in spencer county In. He had traveled down to hickman ky after his first wife died and brought up Sarah and married her he then went back down and brought up mary who married his good friend Thomas pry who married Mary. I have search for these girls 1850 no luck what I have been told is they are cherokee indian. I have a cousin who has a letter that John wrote to sarah while in the civil war addressed is pike stoddard county but the the content regards to indiana . | | | JEANIE EDWARDS BARKER

I went to Kender Cemetery twice in June. The couple that I went with is going back this Fall when the leaves are off the trees. When we went we went the second time we found more stones and many sunken places with no stones. According to the Stoddard County Cemetery book there should be about a dozen or more stones there. I have a copy of the book and have added all of the entries. The other couple will let me know when they are going back. I will pass it on to you.
