RE: Jean Willson/William Brigham
William Brigham is my third great grandfather. The line is:William Brigham, his daughter Sallie Agnes Brigham (Edwards), her daughter Martha Jane Edwards (Lockhart), her son Walter Brigham Lockhart, his daughter Jessie L. Lockhart (Riley)and then here I am, Madalyn Ann Riley (Williams).

It is thru James Brigham that I received my DAR membership. William served in the War of 1812, so my application is being verified now.

Will you please send me your lineage?

I live in Madison County, Tennessee. a two hour drive from Houston County. I visited the farm that William and Jean settled on my visit home last week.

You left a message on Roy Brightenburg's memorial wondering who his parents were so I did a little sleuthing William E. Brightenburg born abt. 1905 in Nebraska the son of George & Maude Brightenburg. Married Beulah Myrtle "Myrl" Tolbert. Not sure what happen to William but, it appears Buelah who went by Myrl married a Gore. In 1910 the Brightenburg family is living in Lancaster Co., Nebr. Other children listed are Harry and Roy Brightenburg. In 1920 George and Maude have 2 more children Clara and Edith. Hope this helps.

The children you have listed on memorial 17465221 (attached to a flower), do not belong to Elizabeth Amelia Maret Madderra. The belong to George Madderra and his second wife.

RE: Sophia Coppinger
You are very welcome, but the person you should thank is Jodi Cay. She's done all the work and the pictures, I just take care of the corrections. I linked with Thomas. You will have to contact the manager for Maud Brightenburg's page for that link.

Nancy I deleted it as soon as I read it, so it should be gone now. There are a lot of sad stories that's for sure, it would be wonderful to have their wedding photo posted. Can add what a devoted husband and father he was. :) Luella

No relation, just happened upon her and thought she deserved a beautiful flower and couldn't leave out her husband. Maybe you can tell a bit of their story for their sites, that would be nice! Luella

RE: Louisa Preston
Louisa Preston (enumerated as Louisia) appears in the Wahpeton, Richland County, Dakota Territory 1880 census with two sons: Ward B and William. Louisa and son Ward born in New York state and William born in Missouri. Directly above Louisa is the George Monagle family.
On the same page is a family listed as Morrells but could be Merrills (no Phebe though). Wahpeton/Breckenridge are bordering towns. Sorry but that's all the info I could come up.
