I sent you an email a couple days ago about that we may be related distantly. It said that my email is a suspect email so I also sent you a message through that to let my email through. I saw your post on Henry Whites page and said you were a great grandchild, i am also a decendent. Please contact me at:
you can call me at 605-350-6964 or 605-539-1129 between 3:30pm - 11:00pm

Name fixed! Sorry about that. His headstone says "William F. O. Carlson," which is why there was some confusion.

For the instructions below, I realize that I mixed up the parents and gave you Nils and Emma's numbers instead of Sigrid and Frans's numbers.
Enter THESE numbers in the boxes instead!
And then your mother will be linked to her parents!
Again, sorry if I've gotten confusing now. Let me know if you have any questions.
Sorry about that!

I totally understand! I'll keep it for now, let me know in the future if you ever want the memorial transferred to you. (:
As for adding your mother to the list of children on her parents' pages, links are made from child to parent. They can't be made from parent to child. Since I see that you maintain your mother's memorial (#17987605), I'll walk you through how to link her to her parents.
Go to your mother's memorial page. Below the short biography you have written for her, you will see a list of links:
[Link family members]
[Add Marker Transcription]
Click on "Link Family Members."
In the "Father" box, paste her father's memorial number: 80817240
In the "Mother" box, paste her mother's memorial number: 80817286
Click "Save Changes" and there you go! Your mother will now appear in the list of children on Nils and Emma Soderberg's pages!
If you're confused about anything, let me know, and I'll be glad to help! Find A Grave can be a bit tricky to get the hang of at first, so if you have any questions, go ahead and ask. (:
Have a wonderful day!

Hi there! I've updated your great-grandfather's memorial. I'm glad to know now why his surname was changed-- when I saw that it was different from his parents, I was extremely confused and tried to figure out why, but never could. Mystery solved. (:
Also, would you like the memorial transferred to your care? I'm not related, and you've obviously done quite a bit of dedicated research on the family line and will take good care of the memorial. (: Let me know.

It looks like Findagrave stripped your email address from the comment you sent me, so I'm answering publicly. Much of the info I put in Rosa May's page here came from a book called "Rosa May: The Search for a Mining Camp Legend". It was written by George Williams III. It looks like it's out of print now. I got my copy from the gift shop in Bodie. They might still have some copies. I see there are also several used copies available on Amazon.
When I read that book, I found another page for her here on Findagrave. There are numerous legends and rumors about her life and whoever created that entry here fell for every one of them hook, line and sinker. Nothing on that page was correct. So, I created my own Findagrave entry for Rosa May in order to get the correct info out there.
