Bio and Links
Bio Photo I just had my 65th birthday, <-----updated 2012. I like genealogy, and the many visits to cemeteries that I have done in my research of family history. I love photography, and have thousands of photos on Flickr.com. I like true mysteries when they have some chance of being solved. Like right now I have a picture of a headstone for Owen Masterson, but I don't know where the headstone is. Someday I will find out I bet. Note Added a couple of hours later: I found it right away! I added two pictures to it. It was the 2nd name I looked for and I found both people's headstones within a couple of hours. How cool is that?
My thousands of photos I mentioned are not all of cemeteries and headstones. They include family, horses, dogs, cats, scenery, particularly waterfalls and woods, flowers, sunrises, sunsets, and nearly anything that is legal, interesting, pretty or all three.
I have a granddaughter, and I love her to pieces, as well as her mother, my daughter. I also have a son.
I like sightseeing, exploring old roads. I like Crime Shows, both the fictional and the true ones. I live in Oregon.

RE: Renae Ahlers Wicklund
I linked her to her parents as you asked. I also read about her work on the Victim Notification Program. Very interesting, and I am glad she put time and effort into it. Thanks for letting me know.

RE: Quit Dogging My Memorial Pages
Everyone here at Findagrave contributes in their own way. We mainly contribute by photographing whole cemeteries.

We are not dogging your memorials. We are filling in cemeteries with gravestone photos; you just happen to have some memorials listed in the cemetery we are working on. Don't flatter yourself that we are watching what you are doing. We have enough to do already.

It is unfortunate you are using dial-up, but that is no one's concern but yours. It is you that have to use it.

Many of your memorials in this cemetery are 5-6 years old & some contain a note you have dates & photos to add "soon". Five years is a long time to expect a memorial to go photoless or dateless when others have the photos & dates ready to post. Even with dialup, 5 years is a long time to wait for photos. No one should have to ask you for a photo; you should just post it if you have one.

Most of my memorials are "finished". This is a grave registration site; everything else is extra. If someone wants to add or correct any of my memorials, they can send me an SAC as procedures indicate. I do them quickly, often the same or next day. I also transfer more memorials than I have to. I am fulfilling the main purpose of this website.

The guidelines say to try to limit SACs to 20 a week, so what I have sent you is NOT out of line. Many of us don't worry about it if we are working on a project like photographing a whole cemetery. I have been on both the receiving & sending end of SACs on projects, so I am not unsympathic. I try to include everything in 1 SAC, but if I missed something once in awhile, it is not a big enough deal for you to blow out of proportion.

Most of the SACs I have sent were for simple things like missing dates from the stone and links. Easy things you can do quickly. You could have avoided some of the SACs by filling it in when you entered the memorials, since you say you add mostly from photos.

This is suppose to be a collabrative website. I will not put up with "bullying" when I know I am doing things the way we are suppose to.

RE: John Millar in Scotland
I am sorry, I messed up.

When posting photos in Crystal Lake, I clicked on John's link (from his wife) and posted a photo of their full stone there, not realizing he wasn't there. I deleted my photo, but unfortunately it cleared your photo request and you got a photo request success email.

Sorry to disappoint you. You will need to re-add your photo request.

John F Sapp 1878 - 1941
This John F. Sapp (1878 -1941)is the son of John F. Sapp (1834 - 1896) and his mother is Endora (Trask) Sapp (1853 - 1923). From what Larry Sapp,1st John F. Sapp's grandson, has told me, it is true John Sapp did donate the land for the cemetery. At this time I'm not able to find a headstone for the senior John F. Sapp. Thank you for the photo of the 1st John F. Sapp's headstone. Deb

Locke Cemetery
Hello, I was at Locke cemetery today as I had claimed Willie Brinkley's grave. I wanted to let you know that I had taken photos of the entire Brinkley family as well as overview photos. I saw that you had claimed two of the Brinkleys, if you'd like I can upload the photos I have taken. Best wishes fellow findagraver,

Tim
