|Leah Duncan||Little and Shahan Families -IOOF Cemetery|
Dot - I'm already in contact with Pam of the Linville Cemetery where part of our family is buried (Newton and Haner), and other branches are at the IOOF cemetery.
I'm planning to stop at the Linville site on Thurs. Oct. 17th, and may have time to stop at the IOOF before then. We will be on our way from a cousin's in KS City to our home in Virginia.
Both of your cemeteries have added a lot of info and photos since I first searched several years ago. Those of us at a distance thank you so much!
I'm on the board of our county historical society and have done some costumed interpretation. Our rural county is across the James River from Jamestown Island where the English settled in 1607. The site I interpret is a state park on our side of the river, land that was deeded in 1619, and continuously farmed since then. Our county records were kept safe during wars because the county clerk took them home. So, lots of people do research via our county because early landowners here also owned property in other counties.

John Swann here--I can't seem to find your email address and have some questions about our family. Could you please drop me a note?

|Jennifer Talbert||RE: coming for a visit|
it looks like Wed the 24th we will drive up. My mom is definite, and I hope her sister Amy will be coming as well. I definitely want to see the cemeteries, and I think we will have a better game plan this weekend. I have to do a bit more checking on what we might want to see. Thank you, I can't wait for us all to get together and talk.

This is Janie Saler's daughter, Jennifer. We are planning a visit to edina for next week. Please email me, would love to chat about what sites we should visit while there.
|Marsha ||Saint Joseph Cemetery|
I've been checking and Findagrave still has not changed the name of the two cemeteries to reflect a difference between the orignal and the 'new'. Nor have they deleted the cemetery named 'new catholic' or added it to the 'new' Saint Joseph Cemetery listing. Bummer! But atleast they did post your photo of the original Saint Joseph cemetery.
Thanks for getting this cleared up, sure will make a big difference for future listings and for others trying to locate their ancestors.

|Marsha ||RE: 'New' St. Joseph Cemetery...Knox Co|
Any chance that you might be able to take a photo of both the 'new' and the 'old' St. Joseph Cemetery to post on find a grave??? That would be a start in separating the two different cemeteries.
Is there suppose to be the word Catholic in there also? St. Joseph 'new' Catholic Cemetery??
Thanks for your help in sorting this out.

|Marsha ||many of same cemetery|
Doing a search and just realized that these St. Joseph cemetery listing are really goofed up. I found a listing for the surname Kriegshauser, and these are listed on a cemetery simply named:
Are these yours? Should the cemetery name be: St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Edina, Knox County, MO?
