I have been "playing" in genealogy for over 20 years. I research the names Dance,Ginn, Wade, McConnell,McCullough,Dunn,Shepherd,Cunningham, Moody and Carruth.
I am a widow, with four grown children,Deborrah, Kerrin,Aaron and Jason, 4 granddaughters,Jade, Amber, Brittany and Sierra. I belong to Grandmother's of SIDS ( having lost my 2 grandsons to SIDS as infants, Joshua (5 days) and Austin 7 and 1/2 weeks).
I live in Stanwood, WA 75 miles North of Seattle, out in the country. I do look-ups at the LDS church for birth and death certificates of Washington State.
Good luck in your quest of finding your "roots". If you find that I have made a mistake in any of the information,or you would like to add information, please contact me and I will correct it as soon as possible. Or if you would like to manage your family connection, please let me know and I will transfer them to you.
Please note my new email address. If you sent me notes after Sept 1st, please send them again. I had a major computer crash.
THANK YOU, and God Bless.........

|Chris Bergstrom||Dixie Isom Griggs|
I have been working on my Isom Family Genealogy for the last 6 years and been trying to link family together to help fellow Isom family researchers locate the children and parents, I have requested Dixie Isom Griggs be linked to her parents William Andrew Isom Find A Grave Memorial# 14982898 and Octa Arene King Find A Grave Memorial# 15772523
If you need me to send her obituary to prove her parentage, or have her daughter Lois Griggs Farmer send a request herself via email i can have that done aswell, i could have sworn Dixie was linked to her parents before, and i had added a photo of her so it seems those we're removed... i will be forwarding my request to findagrave.com aswell.

I couldn't find any other website that included either Stanton burial in Old State Cemetery. From the photographs I found at
it looks like many graves are unmarked or their markers and monuments are long gone. The cemetery seems to have been called by several names besides Old State Cemetery, like Old Vandalia Cemetery and Old City Cemetery.
Thought the cemetery looks well kept, the markers and monuments could use some cleaning, restoration, and resetting.
I don't know the source of the list you plan to import or how reliable it might be. If it's from cemetery records or an earlier physical cemetery survey, that's about as good as you'll get for a cemetery that old. If you could get your hands on a map of the burial plots and burials, that would be fantastic.
Out of curiosity, may I ask why you contacted me with your request? I live in Oklahoma.
