|I have relatives buried in Sand Springs cemetery, Mineola, TX., but have not found their graves, at least, a marker for them. Name for my family are Burrell G. Sellers, and names for my husband's family, are Stroud's, of which I have found their graves. Any help on B.G. Sellers, would be appreciated. We live in Quitman, TX.|

I am related to Albina T Cunningham Holleman. You show that her husband, Clinton Marion Holleman, was born in NC but I feel sure he was born in TN. There is a publication called The Lone Star State:Memorial and Biographical History of Navarro, Henderson, Anderson, Limestone, Freestone, and Leon Counties, Texas, 1893, located in the Sam Houston State University Library. It shows that his ancestors moved to TX from TN. Here is a link on findagrave.com that gives information about that.
Here is a link on familysearch.org that shows Clinton Holleman's birth location in TN, although I know that some info on that site is inaccurate. But everything I've found online related to him gives birthplace as TN.
Thank you, Helen Davies/Dallas,TX.

I am on the board of Sand Springs Cemetery and with the help of old maps from 1985 I have located the grave of Burl Geeter Sellers. You were wanting help in finding his grave. On the old map he had just a temp. funeral hame marker with the standard generic concrete marker in a line of 7 such graves. The 7 concrete markers are still there in a line where shown on the map. He is number 5 in the line as shown in 1985.
The temporary funeral home marker has since disappeared. I can place another temporary marker at his site that could last maybe 50 years. The date of birth & death are unknown. Do you have these dates?
