RE: Owens Photos
I am glad to help. If I would have noticed the other 2 requests on the back of my sheet I could have done them all at once.
I added coordinates to the graves on the memorial listings. If you click on the coordinates it will open a map showing where they are.

Don & Helen Acheson
Hi - I fulfilled your request for Don's headstone. Helen's hasn't been placed yet, so I uploaded the family monument photo directly to her memorial instead of going through the photo requests. That way the request stays active. I'll most likely be back in a few weeks to take more photos, so I'll double check then to see if it's been placed.

RE: Emily Acheson
No problem. Do you know when 'your' Emily came to New Zealand?

Hello Pat
You are very welcome and I am glad to help out on Find A Grave. I know it wasn't the best picture because of the lighting from the sun and location of the mausoleum.

Emily Acheson
Hi. I saw your request for a headstone photograph. If and when it stops raining here I will pop out and take a picture :-)

In the meantime it may be appropriate for you to recheck your records. According to the local genealogy records the Wakapuaka plot in which Emily is buried is also occupied by Sybil (nee Acheson) and Ivan Mackersey. Sybil was the daughter of Emily Jane (Hamilton) Acheson and Robert John Acheson. Robert was a prominent magistrate in NZ - born and died here. Parents were Frances and George Henry Acheson.

This leads me to believe that the Emily Jane Acheson buried in Wakapuaka cemetery is not the one you have memorialised as the child of James and Rebecca Acheson.

Pat,
The memorial was somehow transferred to me a long time ago. The folks who created it requested that I transfer it back so they can delete it since it appears it is not correct. Hope that straightens out the confusion.

RE: Rebecca Acheson
I find myself at a loss for who she is after a quick search through my family files. Seeing a duplicate entry from an earlier date I am inclined to ask for a transfer back that I might delete this, not knowing my sources or the way of the entry.

RE: Rebecca Acheson
Whew. I will have to do research. Not sure who she is our why I added her but my guess is she is somehow related to the Wallace family. I will try to get an answer and if you wish either correct or delete. If you wish, request a transfertransfer and if Kerry managed he will send it to you without question.
