 | Nevada Jennings Good and humorous catch! That would have been a miracle! I should have delved into that information a little more deeply. Her memorial has been revised, until I can add the correct data. Thanks... -Georgia | | | Sandra Lennox
 | RE: Henry Herrick photo Les: I have just been adding people photos for the past several days if there is an existing memorial. I got Henry Herrick's photo from "Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire." You can access this book from google. It was published in 1908. Henry's photo was in volume 2, but it seems only volume 2 comes up in the search. There is great family genealogy on this family; pages 539-543, and two more Herrick photos: Franklin Herrick and Patrick Herrick. Maybe Amy Levesque will transfer management of Henry's memorial to you and you can add some of the family history. When you google the book put "Full Text." Glad I could help out. | RE: Jane (Upton) Melvin Hi Les,
The listing for Sleepy Hollow is very incomplete in that only a small fraction of the burials are listed on Find A Grave. As you may have noticed, all the Melvins entered in the listing have headstone photos which is a pretty good indication that the Melvin listings are simply those graves people photographed rather than a complete listing of all Melvins buried there. I know the ones I entered are simply due to me having photographed the graves.
So to answer your question, Jane may very well be buried there and even have a headstone, but no one has bothered to enter it yet. So if you are fairly certain she is there, you might go ahead and create the memorial and then put in a photo request, although it might be a little while before it is found & photographed (with snow on the ground and it getting dark early).

 | RE: Julius W. Bacon Hi,
Info came from WPA records, which are sometimes not very reliable. I will be at this cemetery in the near future to see what I can find.
I will add your info to the page.
Best regards.Added by ADD on May 09, 2011 10:12 PM | | | Marigay

 | Balderree That would be great. Thank you. If you could post the other once you took, that would be perfect. Thanks! JEL | | | | [View all messages...] |
