"Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come."

~Rabindranath Tagore

There is a radiance and glory in the darkness could we but see; And to see we have only to look.
And so, at this time we greet you, not quite as the world sends greetings, but with the prayer that for you, now and forever, the day breaks
and the shadows flee away.

~Attributed to Fra Giovanni, 1603

Thank you for the information. My original source was the Rose Hill Cemetery Book I which is very reliable. After your e-mail I checked and both the 1900 and 1910 census agree with you. Also there are eight family trees that agree with you !

RE: Ethel Johnson Howard Bird
I know you didn't ask me to transfer Ethel's memorial to you, but you were her friend. I'm not related to her, and I never met her. I know you'll take good care of her memorial.

The VA has renovated large sections at San Francisco National Cem. Many of the stones have been cleaned and treated with a I took and posted a photo of the cleaned-up version. It looks really nice, I think.....Richard

RE: Coleman memorials
Your welcome. I was searching for another Thomas Jefferson Coleman when I stumbled across this TJC. Reading the bio. I got curious and decided to do a bit on researching them. Wow. The Mrs. lived to be 100. Fantatic. I didn't spend enough time to find out where TJC Coleman was b. but I was lucky to find that the Mrs. DC said Clinton Co. I am glad to have help you in a small way. Thanks for the kind note.

I am not related to the Bachelor or Clark families - just a photo volunteer. If you would like to manage the memorials(s), I will transfer it/them to you. It pleases me when people like you can add to the memorials I enter and make them more meaningful to researchers and family members.
