"Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come."
There is a radiance and glory in the darkness could we but see; And to see we have only to look.
And so, at this time we greet you, not quite as the world sends greetings, but with the prayer that for you, now and forever, the day breaks
and the shadows flee away.
~Attributed to Fra Giovanni, 1603

Thank you for your offer to assist me in correcting this memorial. Please send me emails with updates at email@example.com and include the above Find a grave number with your emails so I can find the memorial after today. I have a lot of memorials and family trees that I work with.

Thank you so much, am happy to have them and will take good care of them. Am getting Julia's mother and want to put some info on it about the family. Again thank you.

Hi, am hoping you see this. I sent links to her parents and am hoping that soon you will check your edit tab and accept them so she will be linked to her parents. I did a lot of research and if you want can provide you with the resources if that is what you need.

I just never could find my copy of the DeLong Bible pages, and unfortunately can't seem to get another copy. I tried. I asked over and over. I am so sorry. We did however fix Anna. We deleted Anna Bachelor's memorial since she was Anna McElrath. It seems she was buried under her first husband's name. We put her grave picture on her memorial page and I made her name McElrath Bachelor - even though she was technically McElrath. I figured people will keep making her new memorials as Bachelor since they see the stone. She will have her McElrath Obit and her Bachelor stone and be linked to both husbands so we have her straightened out now, I think- and she won't be mixed up with my aunt Anna DeLong McElrath again. We hope!

I have had a very frustrating day because I was trying to find my 2 great grandfather's Bible pages. I looked everywhere. I had the copy of them in a book and thought I had copied all the info from them other places - seems not. You know both of his daughters married two McElrath brothers and he was very close to the McElraths and there were the two girls. I am sure my Henry DeLong married Edward and your Anna. From the Bible page I got - of course all the family info I needed (in 77), but there were a few people I could never figure out. That is what I was looking for. Henry was orphaned in Nauvoo and that Bible was taken from him, but he regained it I thought maybe the listings were those peoples. Since your message - I am thinking they were the Clarks. I am sure there was a Wm. and a Lillie Clark. I think there was 3 or 4 names. I have contacted someone in the branch of the family that has it - or did, in hopes of getting those listings just in case.

Another FindAGrave person cnntacted me to say these people were relatives - so they were transferred.
I no longer have control over them.

Ah HA! I had my Aunt's grave stone picture on Anna Clara's memorial. I will see if I can request a picture of her gravestone. I am in Ca. and can't take it. I went and took the others but did not think to take Edward's second wife.

Thank you for the link to Anna Clara McElrath's parents. There are 2 Anna McElrath memorials there in Walnut, they are both mine. Edward was married first to my 2 great aunt Anna Katherine DeLong McElrath and then to Anna Clara. Strange he married 2 Annas. Well he never had to worry about calling his wife by the wrong name! My dad used to call my mom Margaret sometimes and she did not like that.

I hope you are having a great spring, sorry I missed the Chi Town Crawl. I REALLY wanted to be there and see you and Budreaux again. Get back down here and let's explore Spring Grove and eat at Camp Washington Chili
Yes, he is buried next to his wife. I updated both memorials with the plot info. Would you like a transfer?
