|Nancy Fayette LaMar||Joseph @ Redford, NY|
Hi Diane, We may be related. I have the Assumption of Mary book and picked up names from there because my gr gr gandparents are buried. there. they are Joseph Jette aka Stay and Isabelle aka Elizabeth Lurette.
If I am looking at the correct Gagne/Gagnier/Gagnon, Joseph died 6/20/1885, age 80, was the spouse of Isabelle's sister, Cecile Lurette/Lirette whom my grandmother's mother was named for. My grandmother was Rose Charland aka Sharland married Delbert D. Fayette. Her parents were Louis Charland and Celia aka Cecile Jette aka Stay. They were from Redford, AuSable and Keeseville, NY as well as Plattsburgh.
This record is in v 3, pg 91 at the Church.
Cecele's death record is under Lurette- she died 8/23 1894 at age 84. She is spouse of Joseph Gagnier on this record, v 3 pg 240. My gr grandmother is listed as Isabelle Lurette, 2/15/1888, age 77, v 3 pg 148.. he sp is Joseph Jette but his stone calls him Joseph Stay.
The Lurette's are a line I've long looked. My grandmother did genealogy but, altho I helped her, she didn't leave her work to her oldest granddaughter. You see, she was part Indian and she took it to a family member at St Regis Reservation. She used to say Isabelle was the daughter of a red headed Irish man who came from Ireland to fight in Canada. I think she skipped a generation because I don't think Lirette/Lurett is Irish- rather, I believe it is French. So, on the search goes.
I have a medical problem right now (abcessed cyst) but as soon as that is done I will go the 20 miles to Redford and take pictures.
Nancy Fayette LaMar.

No problem, and the picture has been added to the other memorial as well.

|J Thom||Anne Veenema/Burnice Raymond|
I went back to Chapel Hills today and was able to find Anne Veenema and Burnice Raymond! The reason I couldn't find them yesterday is the names on their graves is different than the names on here! So if you just re-submit the picture request for the 2 of them, I can claim it and fulfill it for you!!

|J Thom||Bernice Raymond|
I went today to Chapel Hills to try and fulfill your request for Bernice Raymond and Anne Veenema. They didnt have any record for Bernice. They did have an Anne, but the dates you have listed dont match those on the grave.
I think I probably didnt have any luck finding Bernice because I'm assuming Raymond is her maiden name? And shes probably buried under her married name of Veenema?
I can try going back later in the week to see if theres any record of Bernice Veenema. If i have any luck, I will let you know and you can re-submit your photo request so I can fulfill it!

Ooops Hit the wrong button. Really? We have got to compare notes. I live in BC only about 2 miles from Winchester. Just saw Aunt Jeanette's kids a couple of weeks ago at my husband Dave's brothers funeral.

Would you please transfer Uncle Abe Den Braber (#32451641) to me. He is my husbands Uncle. I have already linked his wife Jeanette to him.
