Hi Margaret,
I've somehow misplaced your email address.
Just wondered if you had the info on Jasper Beattie, brother of Thomas Reuben Beattie? I found him in Nebraska census. He was a country doctor and owned a pharmacy. His only son Leo Reuben Beattie was a dentist.
You probably already have this, but just in case you don't, I have a little more info on him.

How goes the Beattie search? I did discover one thing about the Beatties. The men were mostly wiry thin with long faces. It came on down in the Sanderson family. I have a cousin who looks so much like the Beattie men I've seen pictures of. It's been a long hard summer. My mom, Doris Jean Metzger Sanderson, passed away on June 9th and then my dad, Robert Leroy Sanderson, passed away just twenty days later on the 29th of June. Haven't heard from you in a while so when I found you on findagrave, I went browsing to see if you'd uncovered any more gold. LOL

Thanks for the great information! As you can see, I copied and pasted it onto her memorial. (If you'd like me to delete your name and/or email address, just let me know.) And in case you're curious, I am doing some very amateur genealogical stuff for my friend Walt McKenzie who is a g-grandson of Darius Gregg and grandson of Lera(Gregg)Collings. Here is a link to Mary's death certificate. This is a great resource for information about folks who died in Missouri between 1910 and - currently - 1960. (There's a 50-year privacy rule.) Done, and your welcome, best of luck to you in your quest for family history. I just realized I had added headstone photo's for many of the Blume family and 2 from the Kastens family for you.
