My special interests are in the Carter, Moseley and Parnell families and their many friends and related families in Cleveland and Bradley Counties in Arkansas, and then in the Stevenson and Smith families of Dallas County, Arkansas.

Could you please give me control of the entries for my Grandfather Watt Moseley buried in Oakland Cemetary. Also wondering if there is a gravestone for my Grandmother Myrtle Sanderlin Moseley, she should be next to Watt. Appreciate all that you do....you are still a great American

I'm assuming we are some distant cousin; my greatgrand father was John L. Doherty who was son of Harrison Doherty and Martha Ann Stevenson and she was the daughter of Joseph Stevenson and Matilda Tippens Stevenson.
My questions are many, but I'll start with these. I have been to the Doherty/Stevenson Cemetery (last year and did a lot of clean up work there) but see no stone for Matilda. Do you know where she died and is buried? I can't find records of that. Also do you know where Harrison Doherty is buried?
Would love to compare information with you.

Hi I was wondering if any of the Mosleys knew Fred W Simmons parents? He was married to Margaret (Maggie) Norman Mosley /Simmons.
|Larry Ray||Cousin from Tennessee|
Good to hear from you. I am semi-retired and live on the Tennessee River near Paris Landing. I can see Confederate Fort Heiman near my home on the river and started writing a series of articles a couple years ago about it and some other Civil War history in my local area for a magazine. During my research, I decided to find out more about my great grandfather, George Washington Doggett who was a Confederate veteran from Alabama. He migrated to Bradley County, AR after the war. One of his sons, Woody Haywood Doggett was my grandfather. My grandmother Mary was a Parnell. They are buried there with many of my Doggett and Parnell family in Parnell Cemetery. I was at their funerals many years ago and noticed my great grandfather's Confederate tombstone and wanted to honor him and the family. I found the grave site and have started updating some of the information and adding photos for the family history. Larry Ray

Thank you Robert. Do you know of a Lucille Plum being adopted by Ben along with her brother and sister? Thank you, Cari
|Searching4Genes||Benjamin H Beard|
Could you tell me where you obtained the information for Benjamin H Beard, Find A Grave Memorial# 21158291? I believe this to be a part of my grandmother's adopted family. I am in contact with the granddaughter of a descendant of Benjamin Beard and we are seeking more ancestral info on this family. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
