I wasn't able to keep the thread going on your reply last night. I revisited both listings for McMichael Cemetery on find-a-grave and I have Albert and Thomas McMichael listed on the Adamsville location. The rest of the family I wanted to get grave pictures for are at the smaller cemetery which I assume is on McMichael Rd. and buried behind overgrown shrubs. The grave that got my attention was your posting for Bryce Delos and Maude McMichael. He was the grandson of Thomas and 1st wife Sarah. It is Thomas' 2nd wife Rebecca Richard that is my family tree. She is my 2x great grandfather's sister and I am working on all his siblings, hence my research on the McMichael family which has been very interesting and for which I got many obits last week at historical society. The other person that was posting is someone called Librarian Jesse so I'll have to contact them. They had comments that sounded as if they have seen the graves even though there are no pics.
Do you have any other McMichael grave photos?
|Ann Devenney||Mcael Cemetery|
I live in Columbus, Ohio and just came home from a research trip to Crawford Co. last week for several days. I spent many hours at the historical society obtaining obits on many McMichael family members. I also went to many cemeteries to get grave photos. I especially wanted grave photos from McMichael cemetery. I had a list of 30 people to get but we couldn't get there to see graves. We were on McMichael Rd. across from a farm and thought the cemetery must be in all the trees, shrubs and weeds. But walking through that didn't look good and also seemed to be on private property. How did you get the wonderful grave photos you have posted? Were we in the wrong place as I would love to get these grave photos? My 2x great grandfather's sister was Rebecca Richard McMichael, 2nd wife of Thomas and she is my primary person and of course Thomas but I'd love graves of everybody from his 1st wife Sarah Mason too. I love the history, the search and finding my ancestor's resting places. Looking forward to hearing from you and maybe some good info.
