The road to discovery is full of interesting people and places that we love to share. Familes of interest are: |
Felten/Felton, Powell, Blough/Blauch,Chadwick, Louther/Luther,Menoher,Falloon/Faloon,Trusheim, Bonheimer, Wingard, Nichols, Hast, Thomas, Stayer. Mchaffie, St.Clair,Laughlin,Mackall, McGregor, Bossinger, Geitel,Moorhead,Heilman,Fiscus, McClure, McCullough, Dawson, Cornell, Conkle, and Glenn.

Is Bertha the daughter of Peter Alwine and Christina Kauffman, or the daughter of Peter and his second wife. The reason I am asking, is her birth is 8 yrs after the death of Christina.
Peter is my 3x great uncle.

I AM INTERESTED IN A LONE TOMBSTONE IN SEC. 32 FOR A GEORGE SCHMITT ...... I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR MY 2ND GREAT GRANDFATHER, GEORGE SCHMITT, FOR SOMETIME AND I THINK THAT THIS MAY POSSIBLY BE HIS GRAVE. I KNOW THAT HE DIED IN MARCH 1880 AT PITTSBURGH. HE WAS BORN IN GERMANY. CAN YOU TELL ME IF THIS GRAVE IS ABUTTED TO ANY OTHERS THAT COULD BE CLAIMING IT OR IS IT TOTALLY ALONE?
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER INTEREST IN THIS GRAVE?

Thank you for adding Anna Felton. I had been searching for her! She was the second wife of my 3rd great grandfather, who died in Middlebourne West Virginia. I need to find his 1st wife (my line), Martha Brown. Maybe you have more information.

Now that I have looked at this closely, you are correct. Robert is the son of William, not James.
I will get back to you with more information and questions.

I rec'd your message. I will look into the problem and get back to you on Thursday.
I have 2 Margaret Fi(a)lloons in my tree. One the daughter of Daniel, the other the daughter of John. I am not even sure that Daniel and John are related, but I believe they are brothers.
Will be in touch.

Thank you so much for transferring her memorial to me. I have looked for her for so many years, and all that time, she was right under my nose! Thank you so much for finding her for me and for all the work you do. It is much appreciated!

Thank you, and I'll continue to look for the Robert Beveridge who married Anna Stevens Powell. I've checked my own database, but the Roberts that I've found in it were married to other women. Again, thanks for transferrring William Warren Beveridge.

I deleted my memorial and adjusted the one you transferred to me (thanks!) by adding more information and linking to other family.

Is it hard to get the office to help you find graves. I know that it will cost me 5 dollars if I ask for anymore locations of my relatives in the cemetery!
Also I need to thank you for getting me the headstone of Eleanor Will, Robert Roy, Cathy Lynn Saylor, Mary Wright, William Langley
Thanks So Much
You Have Helped Me So Much
