Bio Photo I'm the son of Paul T. Marnen and Gladys L. Earley. I was born in Meadville PA a long time ago! I took this genealogy stuff over from my mother. I am interested in the Balls, Marnens (Marnin, Marnan, Marnane), Zahnisers, Lehan (Leehans), Bierschmidts, and on and on, most of whom has some roots in Mercer and Crawford County Pennsylvania. Please, feel free to contact me if I can be of some assistance.

RE: Stengers in Saint Agathas
Thank you for this information and also posting the pictures. We'll have to try searching that area, when we go again maybe this summer. We live about an hour away. I thought it was confusing figuring out exactly where the St Agathas and Glendale cemetery boundaries were located. I will also try your contact. Thanks again!

Stengers in Saint Agathas
I noticed you posted a number of graves of the Stengers in Saint Agathas Cemetery in Meadville. I'm a descendant of Martin and Josephine Stenger- 3rd great grandparents. I'm wondering if you know of any relation this pair had to the others, Theresa, William, and Elizabeth Stengers. Are the graves in the same general location? It is confusing because according to the census information Theresa was married to a Martin Stenger as well and seem to have similar birthdates. Both family's first born was named Joseph. I might have to do some more searching. Are Martin's and Josephine's graves close together? I believe their son, Conrad Stenger is buried in Greendale.

Lydia George
Hi Ted - would you add Lydia George, # 38559505 as the wife of Benjamin Medberry, 38559537?

Also Benjamin, listed above, was the son of Joseph Medber(r)y, # 50814821

Thank you for adding them to the database.

Grave of Michael Zahniser
I live in Erie and am working on a third volume of grave locations for veterans of the War of 1812. I would like your permission to use the picture you posted of Michael Zahniser's grave in this compilation. I will cite you as the source. Thank you.

I think your mom and I were in the same DAR chapter.

Henderson Cem - Crawford Co
Hi Ted - I noted that you posted a picture of the Medberry graves at Henderson Cemetery. I am trying to figure out if the Henderson Cemetery and the Union Cemetery in Titusville are one and the same. From obits I see, in the 1930's-40's
they are saying the deceased is being buried in Henderson Cemetery, but the graves are being found in present-day Union Cemetery. Would you recall when you took the pictures if you actually went to a cemetery called Henderson?
Thanks for any help, Ted Kenniston, Brooklyn, NY
