John Scovill
Mary Smith
I am looking for the genealogy of Mary Smith who married John Scovill my 3rd great grandfather. I have her father and mother as John Smith and Sarah Tyler, and his father and mother as Joseph smith and Elizabeth Cone. I can not prove the relationships are correct. Can you help me?

Thanks John Scovill

Irene Dvorscak Timsak
I saw your "ad" on my great aunt's page. Interesting she married a man from the same town in Slovakia, just like her sister-in-law did, but in the opposite way. My great-grandfather was born in Bridgeport since his mother was pregnant on the voyage over from Vel'ky Saris. His mother hated it and took the kids back home. "Grandpa" came back to Connecticut but married Stephen Timsak's little sister, Barbara Rose Timchak. He always told the story that he mailed letters proposing marriage to 3 girls from the village and "Grandma" was the only one who answered. Apparently their son, my Dad's uncle, Ed Tuleya wrote a book on Slovak immigrants focusing on the Timchaks.

James McGiehan found
I was able to locate James' stone today. In addition to him, there are two women buried there:
Augusta McGiehan 1884-1904 and
Esther McGiehan 1887-1920.

There were several stones down in this section as well as many vacant areas. Also with snow on the ground I may have missed a foot monument. I will try again once the ground clears but I'm fairly certain that if the section you've given me is correct, there is no stone for him.

RE: Phelan
I think you are looking at my profile pic. Those stones are taken from the side and are located at Sleepy Hollow. If you go to Phelan's memorial page, you will see the stone from the front showing the name. Will you be creating memorials for the other members? If not, I will email you the pics of the single stones.

Please note that there are foot stones indicating the following:

Madeline 1881 - 1940
Archie 1912 - 1929
Mother 1978 - 1929

If you need these pic uploaded, please let me know.
