THANK YOU for this memorial and photos. It confirms some info that I already had, and is more complete also. "Jane" was her middle name as my research shows at least, she was Elizabeth Jane (Shell) and was his second wife. John Louthen's surname is found spelled all sorts of ways in records, often confused with the old script for S and listed as Southen and other spellings as you might imagine. I followed the link to the contributor and found you. James is my 5th great grandfather in my maiden name, a line that has been quite a hassle because of the common name primarily. I am in the process of trying to prove if Elizabeth Poage Wilson is indeed my great grandmother x5. Hello,
I am researching the Rosenbaums of Tennessee and Virginia, specifically Henry Marion (or Michael) Rosenbaum, and Nancy Margaret Rosenbaum.
Family history tells that they were cousins who were married to others, he to Susan R. Sells and she to Leander J Grubb. They left their respective spouses and moved together to Missouri, taking with them only her youngest daughter.
If you can give me any leads I would be deeply grateful.
