Thanks for all your help in making the updates to the memorials at Sutherlin Cemetery.
Have you noticed the plethora of info now available on these memorials?
I have been sitting on a lot of info that is now available to all. This has also given me the push to dig out more when I found a memorial for a person I had no info on. I've been hammering ancestry.com a lot to fill in gaps. Good thing I'm retired and don't have anything else going on.
Now that the info is in place, I'm going back through the ones that I own and prettying them up by putting blank lines in the "BIO" section so it reads better.
Here is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish for readability.

Thanks for the batch of updates you did in response to my requests. You single-handedly cut my outstanding requests from about 90 to 47.
If you are interested, I have the Sutherlin gang on my Family Tree Maker program back to 40 AD.
I can only attest to the accuracy back through James Southerland 1561-1622. The rest I accumulated by following family trees found on ancestry.com and merging "father of, father of, father of ....." backwards until I ran out of fathers.
Interesting to note, James Southerland was born in Duffus, Moray, Scotland. There was a "Walter Laird (Lord) of Duffus 1205-1263".
Yes, my good man, we are officially Duffuses.
My daughters had a lot of fun with this until I reminded them that they are Lady Duffuss.
|John Reckel||Sutherlin updates|
You have probably noticed that I am making massive corrections/additions to the Sutherlin clan at Sutherlin, Roachdale, New Maysville, and other cemeteries that contain Sutherlin's.
I am making every effort to be complete and accurate. I am using my Family Tree maker genealogy and ancestry.com and Find A Grave in trying to determine the various links and other info that is proper for F.A.G.
I have been putting off this task for a few months and now that the weather has gone bad, I have the time. My goal is to link up all the Sutherlin's that can be determined. I will not guess, so some will remain unresolved.
Thank you for your efforts at making timely updates to the memorials you own. I appreciate it.
If you find any errors, please alert me quickly so that I can make proper adjustments on my end.
Thanks, John Reckel

I have made the changes you suggested. I only listed them because they are listed on the cemetery records. I will be happy to transfer the memorials to you. I also know that Find A Grave doesn't really want memorials created for those you are still alive. If you want to keep them add their dates of birth. I would ask you to send me the dates of birth so that I can add it to the cemetery records. I have become the one with the most up to date records for the Riddle UMC cemetery. I originally got the info from Gene and Joan Ritchie and make additions and send them via email to their daughter Julie White who works in English.
