RE: Wysoka Strzyzowska
Hi,

Sorry, I don't have any Kumor names in my records, but then this name has not been in my radar.

Arron H. Vedder
Andrew... you are exactly right I know that once I locate his parents and/or father it'll take me all the way back, especially being within that region of New York. I also know that there is a Vedder Library up there as well and I need to talk with some local genealogists to see what I can uncover. But you make a good observation concerning Arent being the dutch form of Aaron and the middle intial being H... as in Harmense. NOw he name now Aaron named his son (my 2nd great grandfather Herbert Aaron Vedder so I also thought the H might stand for Herbert, but not sure...

RE: Aaron H Vedder
Andrew, I have not been able his parents... I know Aaron H. Vedder and wife Hellen lived in Royalton, Niagara, New York. Aaron was born about 1822...? Hellen was born about 1821. Here full name was Hellen B.W. but not sure of her maiden name. Any help here would be great because this has been a wall that I have not been able to overcome since I began researching my family. Thanks Christian.

RE: Seelye
Lyman & Martha Griswold Seelye were my 3rd great grand uncle & aunt. (They stayed in NY according to my research.)
My 3rd great grandparents (Cornelius & Rachel Smith Seelye) moved to Ohio in 1821 with his other brother, Daniel. Cornelius is supposed to be buried in a cemetery in Avon, Ohio. (perhaps the Mounds) But, the person that checked for me could not find his gravestone.

RE: Elihu Vedder
Andrew, although I created the page for Elihu Vedder Jr., it is actually maintained by Find-A-Grave as a "famous memorial". So, I cannot add Elihu Sr. as his father, rather you would have to go to the Elihu Jr. memorial and suggest the correction and a find-a-grave admin would respond to your request. I wish I could help and I believe I had thought about that before, so I'm glad you reached out to try to correct the relationship. Let me know if you get a response and if you don't I will try as well... Thanks again, Christian Vedder.

I have a George Frederick Vetter(1823-1891)from Germany. Is he possibly one of yours with a spelling change?

RE: Kumor
Do you want a transfer of the memorial? Just let me know, as he is no relation to me.

RE: Kumor
I have no other info on him. I am "mowing the rows" in that section, and transcribed what was on the stone. Sorry that I can't help you--I wish I could!
