I would like to express my gratitude to everyone that has answered a photo request, transfer and/or has added additional info to findagrave. Thank you for your invaluable help. |
My hope is that this information will enrich the lives of my children, family and unknown relatives in ways that they may not even be aware of yet.
Due to disability, a large majority of the memorials added and/or managed are family. In my pursuit of family research, when I run across additional information I add when and where I can. At times, it may take a bit to get everything updated.
I have added a few deaths with "unknown" burial places in the hope that someone in that area or that has that knowledge can fill in the blanks, as was done with Emma Lee Davison Ledford, my gg-grandmother - tombstone inscribed with "Emmer".
Findagrave is assuredly a place to add memorials, but it has also grown into something so much more over the years. It is a special place for those who would like the chance to remember and honor those who have passed before us, and perhaps are unable to visit their final resting places.
With sincerest regards,
When we die we become 'stories' in the minds of other people.

She was my Dad's Aunt. I have been trying in vain to locate her two sons, when they died and where they are buried. Their names are Howard P. and Earl L. Evans. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Your very welcome Karen. If you know of anyone in your family tree that is in Madison Co. Alabama please let me know, and if you need help with records I can look them up here for you.

Got the picture done for you. I also saw that there were other Crisco(e) headstones in this cemetery. So I took pictures of them too. If you would like full size copies send me an email and I will send them to you

You are welcome. I love being able to visit the grounds where my ancestors lived.
Hello I posted photos of Winnie and Mariah Davis

Karen, it is my pleasure to reunite family, no matter how distant, so all McDowell's in that cemetery have been transferred into your care. If you run across any other kin that I've entered, let me know (again, no matter how distant).
Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers you left for Mama. Like I said, she loved them so.
