|I guess we've all ended up here for the same reason -- researching and documenting family history. A contribution I found here broke down a brick wall I've had for a while. I decided to start contributing my own information, hoping that what I have may help someone else.|
I live in Stafford County, Virginia (near Fredericksburg), but I can and have gone all over doing my research. If you are working on one of my surnames in one of my areas, I may be able to help you. If you need a photo of anything from around here, I'll take care of it.
I am currently researching the following:
My family made the migration from Virginia to Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, and California in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, so I have relatives all over. It's ironic that after all of this, I ended up living within 10 miles of where my Virginia ancestors lived in the 1700's.
Surnames: Armstrong, Carothers, Floyd, Morris, Leckie, Stevens, Toalson/Tolson, Crowley, West, Todd, Brady, and others.
My husband's family pretty much stayed put in the area surrounding the West Virginia panhandle, with a little bit of Virginia, and some Pennsylvania and Maryland thrown in for variety.
Surnames: Hilker, Bradshaw, Hess, Grubb, Miller, Gregory, Delancy, Clohessy, Gillinger, Hensell, Harbauch, and others.
*** If you have ANY information on Harrison Bradshaw, 1814 - 1901, married to Sarah Catherine Lohr, I will be very grateful. ***

Thanks for the pics. I am glad to see the stones and get correct dates.
For Virginia, I may have the husbands in the wrong order and have her birthdate wrong also.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the photo, I guess we are very much kin, My mother married a Armstrong, where she had a daughter by him, who I found just 2yrs ago, Have not got to meet my sister, But my family is all over Virginia,Gallahan, Brooks,Acors, Lloyd and so on, Stay in touch Diana
The date of death on Jesse Crowley's grave marker says 1927, but you have it as 1924; he was still living when his wife died in 1925 so 1927 must be correct; good of you to post him...thanks.
I added photographs for William and Micha Toalson. James Toalson is also buried in this same location.

Hello. Just saw your bio when I saw the photo request for Carrie Burton was claimed by you. I just started on here, but let me know if you need some extra help or company. Most of my relative are buried in West Virginia and Ohio, but like you, I'd like to be able to help others out as well.

Hi, You have some of my family added to Norborne cemetery when I already had the added to 'Old' Norborne Cem. You took the tombstone photo's for me a long while back. I believe the problem is that findagrave has 4 different cemeteries listed for Norborne-- Norborne, Old Norbone (misspelled), New Norborne & Norbourne Parish Cem. I added my family to Old Norbourne because that's what the death certificate reads & what the Berkeley County Cemetery Book reads. Norborne & Old Norborne probably need to be merged together because I believe they may be the same cemetery. Until then, can you please transfer over Charles Edward Gregory buried at Rosedale so that I can link him to his parents burials at Old Norborne? Thanks.

Hello, I was hoping you wouldn't mind adding some relationship links to Charles Edward's page for me? I was able to add one of his wives since I added her page, but you added his other wife.
Father # 14870279
Mother # 14870531
Spouse # 17000970
Thanks again for taking all those photo's of the Gregory's for me. ;)
