|Jesse J. Bullens III||Matilda J. AND Ruth H. Hayes|
The 1860 census shows a Matilda J. (age 17) AND a Ruth H. Hayes (age 9). Is it possible that you have them mixed up, or is the census wrong?
These are only my 2nd cousins 4 times removed but I have a tendency to rely on documentation. You haven't even provided a picture of their stone to support your theory. You might wish to recheck your findings and, if I'm wrong, provide some proof. For which I will apologize.
|Donna Morneweg||John G. Cummins and wife Matila Jane Hayes|
Hi, I just want you to know my great -grandfather was William Caleb Cummins and married Sarah Ada Payne.
My Grandma Pearl (Cummins) Mitchell told me that her Grandpa was John Gallenger Cummins and Matilda Jane Hayes. She use to have a picture of them hanging on her bedroom wall. J.G. Cummins was a short man , and Matilda was taller than him and had black hair that she wore up in a bun. Hope this info help you . Donna
Researching Preston Cummins b. 1807 Bracken Cty s/o Christopher. I have him dying in Bracken in 1842 and wife Eliza Jane Black.. You have him dying in 1864 with Louisa and Mary Deaton. Two different men?
|A.P. Davis||Joseph Ferneau|
Do you know where in the Bainbridge Cemetery he is? I couldn't find him, but found tons of other Ferneaus. I found this family history that says he's buried in the Old Burying Grounds; however, I can't prove or disprove this.
Thanks for all you've contributed.
