RE: William Halligan
Hi Tom...I don't have him in my tree. When I post photos of Veteran headstones, I like to do some research on them. Thought I would add to your info a little and post a clearer photo of his stone.

Tom, your listing for the above individual needs to be listed in the Andersonville National Cemetery Listing. If you notice, there are two different listing for Andersonville Cemetery, the correct being Andersonville National Cemetery.

Greetings!
Hi there,
Don't know why I didn't get an email so long as it was clearly marked in the subject. This is why I love the public message thing, I always seem to get those! Yahoo is free, but sometimes I turn up legit stuff in the spam folder.
Anyways...I removed the request for Stephen Kemp. Another contributor went hunting for it awhile back & told me they couldn't find anything either, and since my info was from the VT in the Civil War website, I figure maybe the info is in error & thus removed it.
I lived in Vermont for 10 years (Middlebury, Castleton, Rutland) & consider it home, so am always interested in adding Vermont soldiers. Found a few in Rhode Island, but down here the only place they are is in the national cemeteries. Just photographed & added the Vermont plot at Gettysburg to this site in the past week! Sure wish I had a digital camera while I lived in Vermont.
Many thanks again for making the effort!
~Jen~
