Please request permission before copying and reposting the biographies I have contributed to Find A Grave. I would also appreciate your acknowledgement of the source, as in "Biography from Find A Grave by Teresa (or T. Sundey)." I won't report and have copyright infringement enforced, but please be kind and reference the work of others when you use it. I find so many of my biographies on Ancestry.com posted without recognition that I have finally decided to comment. Thank you for being considerate in this way. |
Researching surnames Sundey (Santucci/D'Alesio/Cicci), Young, Dicken, Stuart, Holbein, Kulp, Brock, Houston, Whitney, and related families. Many thanks to Billy Glen Whitis for introducing me to Find A Grave. I'll try to contribute to this interesting site, but will never catch up to his level :) Besides putting up memorial pages for my deceased family members I will now and then add pages for others not related to my lines in hopes that it might help someone else's research. Please let me know if you have any changes or additions for any of my Find A Grave pages.
I like the inscription on Dominic A. D'Alessio's carved monument from 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." Thanks to Mr. Ed for going out and getting this inscription for me.

Your most welcome
Have a great day

I recently took photos in Woodlawn Cemetery and took Susan's photo. The dates were different, so I did some research. The Ohio marriage license was dated 31Mar1875, which I uploaded. The Ohio Death Index indicates that Susan Yoder died 6-19-1938 in Tuscarawas, so I made an edit to your date of death. An application to the Sons of the American Revolution indicates Susan's birth date as 2-3-1850, so I've changed that. Hope this info is beneficial. I'll be uploading Noah's memorial soon.

Hello, I took pictures of all the headstones in Section A of Forest Lawn, Saginaw, Mi and found this headstone. You have made a notation on it that you believed she did not have a headstone, as a lot of paperwork states no headstone but in fact they do have it. I believe it was one we had to uncover it as it was grown over. We took that pictures last December and when I get a chance I try to put them in, so I hope you'll take a look at it. Janet

|Janet McColley Franklin||Hello|
I was checking on HillBilly's page to see if I had thanked her yet for a memorial and I noticed you mentioned Campbellsville Ky and Smith Ridge Rd. I happen to live there and on that very road so just wanted to say hello. Janet Franklin

The director at the Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home in Evans City helped me research this grave. The records for that time period are handwritten in big books. He had just taken over the books just 4 years prior. Nothing is on computers.
He did find John Stanley Stuart (buried 9/23/1915) and 2 people buried close to him. Unfortunately, all the graves were unmarked.

|Teresa Milner||Kulp - Hile link?|
I am researching the family of Henry Hile. He had a daughter named Sarah born about 1807 in Pennsylvania. Henry Hile is listed at the "head of household" with Joseph Kulp and his wife Sarah in the 1850 Census in Norton, Summit County, Ohio
I was wondering if you had come across any documents linking Sarah Hile to Joseph Kulp? Perhaps Sarah Hile was Joseph's first wife? or Sarah Hile married an Overstreet first then Joseph Kulp?
Both Henry Hile and Joseph Kulp came from Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
I think that Henry died about 1860 in Summit County, Ohio.
Henry's other children were John, Jacob, James and William. Most of his family moved to Michigan after 1860.
