Bio and Links
I have been a genealogist for 15+ years and have been exploring my Waggoner line for the longest time. I have been researching the family lines of Elisha (Sarah)and Russel (MaryAnn) Waggoner (Washington Cemetery). Other descendent lines include Weakly - Levi (Serilda Waggoner) and Henry (Amanda Waggoner in Glen Woods Cemetery, Shelby County).

Other family lines researched in Shelby County are Miller, Mueller, Roessler, Albin and Forsythe.

I also have been uploading Cemetery information from Oak Hill Cemetery and Oak Woods Cemetery in Cook County, IL. Typically, I contribute tombstones of the Olsen, Nelson, Bates, Benson, Green and Anderson lines and tombstones which may be surrounding my family.

I encourage other genealogists to take the time to upload information and photographs for our furture genealogist.

John W. Forsythe
Karla - Would you go to the entry and through the "edit" button, add what you wanted linked. For some reason, I am not able to pull up a John W. Forsythe and I don't know which cemetery you would be talking about. Thanks.

simmermans not in Wagoner cem
Hi again Karla, I live about 50 miles from the Wagoner cemetery where my Waggoners, Wagoners, and Pruetts are buried. Anyway it looks like the cemetery you need there in Silverville is called Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. I visited it online and found Alta, Dewey, Dosia, Lloyd, Mary Alice, Nelma, Robert E and Woodrow Simmermans there. It is in Lawrence county, IN as you know. I hope you can correct this for your own peace of mind. Our little cemetery is on a hillside surrounded by big trees. Good Luck. Linda Sharp

Simmermans in Wagoner Cem.
Hi Karla, You have made a terrible mistake! All the Simmermans that you have added to the Wagoner Cemetery is not possible! It is very tiny and full! There are 3 other cemeteries in Silverville and I don't know which one they belong in, but please revisit all those listings. I about croaked when I saw all those names. My great aunt Nancy Wagoner married James F. Simmerman but they are buried at Shiloh which is not in Silverville. The tombstones appear to be on flat ground so it must be one I can't name right this minute--it has a church still active with it. I'll write back. Linda Sharp, a Wagoner descendant.

Delbert Ray Grubaugh
Hi Karla,
Thank you so much for adding the tombstone photo of Delbert Ray Grubaugh in Washington Cemetery, Shelbyville. He was the stillborn son of Levi Jackson Grubaugh (memorial #31549791) and Sarah Ellen "Dolly" Barr (memorial #29033369) who are both buried at Goose Creek Cemetery, I see that you are the owner of the memorial as well so I have some adds to Delbert's memorial, if you are willing. I am an active Grubaugh researcher and would be glad to do the maintenance if you would prefer. My member number is #47081971.
First of all, his middle name (from the tombstone) is "Ray", not "Raly"
He was born and died April 14, 1916 in Ridge Township, Shelby County, Illinois.
I've included below his LDS death record found in the LDS database, Illinois Deaths & Stillbirths, 1916-1947. He wasn't listed by his name, but found under the name of his father & mother. I don't have an obituary for him.

For your information, he had two sisters, one born before him and one born after him. The eldest was Irene Grubaugh Anderson who died recently (15 Aug 2010) at the age of 100. The younger sister is Vera Kathryn Grubaugh who never married. She is living in Mahomet, IL and celebrated her 85th birthday yesterday.

Thanks again for initially inputting the record and then for going back and securing a photo. You are wonderful.
