RE: Pauline Ledford Austin
You are quite welcome. I meant to tell you earlier that my wife knew Pauline and she told me what a sweet woman she was. Her late mother Alda, wanted to see her when she was very ill back in 2000, just before she went into the Hospice Care in Asheville.
As soon as I get into the next generation of her relatives, I will be calling on you.

Roy and Pauline Photos
Hi Tracy,
Great job on posting the photos of your grandparents. I keep telling people the importance of pictures, but most never even look for any. That's what makes a memorial mean so much more, not only to family, but also shows others that they were truly loved.
Pauline is a relative on my wife's side of the house. I'm currently working on all of that family lineage.
Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the Liza Austin link to her parents. It is so nice to have it done without having to wait a couple of weeks for the request to be filled. Again thank you.

Thank you so much for the great photo for Gather Mace. I really appreciate it. I was in that area over the summer but never found that cemetery. Had so many that I was looking for, that I somehow missed that one.

Are you related? Gather was my gg grandfather.

Thanks again

Mr Austin does not meet criteria for a transfer. However, I will add links, bios, information etc as needed and will do so promptly.

Mary Ann Austin Gunter
The person who linked Mary Ann to the Austins is Ronald Halford. He is the only one who can correct that link as Mary is maintained by him.
It appears that Mary must be some kin to him as it is a transferred memorial.
Perhaps you will want to write him and ask his source and request removal if incorrect.

Just wondering how much you knew about Elizabeth Sweatman. Elizabeth's brother David was my g-g-grandfather, but my information on their parents, other than their names, is sketchy. Any help would be asppreciated.

Tracy, I was in the Jackson County area and visited the Cemetery where your family is buried. I made pictures of the headstones and I went to put them on your memorials, I noticed the absolutely beautiful pictures. You have done a wonderdful job. Now if you prefer not to have the headstone pictures, I will gladly remove them. I also noticed that the Halls are also part of your family. My ex son in law's father has written a book on his leg of the Halls and I am sure he would talk to you about this if you like. Just let me know and I will be happy to help. We raised our children off Oak Hill Rd off Leicester Hwy, but now am living in Marion and our son still lives in the Leicester area. Waiting to hear from you. Caroll Barrier Smith.

Good Cemetery
I find it puzzling that you visited this cemetery you only transcribed a few graves. Additionally, since you had a camera and took an overall picture of the cemetery, why not photograph the markers too??
