I guess I am sort of a history buff and especially American History. I have had several ancestors in Am. Rev. War and Civil War. My recent ancestors were primarily Irish/Scot/English with the exception of a German Grandmother and a few Pennsylvania Dutch. | |

No, problem, thanks for the heads up. I'll get it as soon as the rain clears. I also looked John up and you can add US ARMY and also his date of DEATH: 10-25-1916.
There's also a John and a James H. McKee there; I've sent edits for dates of death on each of them.

How did he end up buried in Shullsburg, Wisconsin? Just curious.
I was visiting there and took some pictures at the cemetery, don't have any connection.

My ancestor served with the Dimond's in Company K, 24th Iowa. I've been researching the soldiers and I was curious as to the source of Sidney's birth date and birth location?
