Bio and Links
Bio Photo I wrote the following few paragraphs when I first started researching my tree. They are as true today as they were back then. However, If there's one thing that has shown to be more important than anything else it's teamwork!! No one person can document all the information that needs to be made public. That's why the edit tab at the top of your profile page is so important. Please give a look at that list of entries as often as possible. As you process the entries, visiting the memorial pages and comparing them to your own work is crucial and informative. You'll find family members that you were never able to find before, because now, they've been linked. Genealogy is not fiction, its facts. Facts about every person listed. Check it out, you never know what may have been added since your last visit.

As far as genealogy is concerned, I guess I'm a "newbie" started in 2005. My mother died in April, my step father died in July, and my sister died in October all in 2005. It finally dawned on me that all my history was gone. I've found some great people out there willing to help me to put my "tree" together. I want to give back as much as I've gotten. I take pictures of headstones in cemeteries that I visit and intend to do more. I want to share those photos with anyone who wants to use them.

If I've input some of your family and they are not relatives of mine, I'll gladly transfer them to you. Please use the edit tab on the memorial page to make your suggestions and add your links. The common courtesy of asking for changes and links instead of demanding is appreciated.

I can't stress enough the importance of the edits tab. The edit tab contains a list of corrections or additions that someone else has found for established memorials. Please look at this tab and process the ones listed for you. This is one of best "team" projects for genealogy. Let's all contribute the little pieces of information that everyone else may not have. IT'S ALL IMPORTANT.

The mistake where she was listed as her husbands sister was done through another contributor, since I can't link siblings, so I sent them an error correction to have Mary removed as the mother hopefully this will clear it up.

Mary Jane Hogan Harris #92462062
Hi Dana. I was wandering if you have proof that John Phillip Harris, Memorial #(27601195), was the husband of Mary Jane Hogan Harris. My great grandfather is William Vess Harris. His father was John Lee Harris and mother was Mary Jane Queen Harris. I have a copy of John Lee Harris' death certificate, and it has Mary Jane Hogan and John Phillip Harris listed as mother and father. However, I was just wandering if John Phillip that is linked to Mary Jane Hogan, is the right John Phillip that was her husband. Thanks for any help.

Infant Twin(s) Justus
Hi! NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU--seems like a long time!

Infant Twin Justus ( Find A Grave Memorial# 92771598) was amended per your e-mail.

Made the same changes to Find A Grave Memorial# 92771781 but had to retract them due to the fact that the daughter's name (Corranda) was on the gravestone. Put similar information on that memorial as well.

Thanks for taking the time to send it all!
If either you or Jennie Jones Giles are related to these two infants, would be most happy to transfer them to that family!

CHEERS!

RE: Looking for help
My source was his death certificate. I could not locate one for his wife, but she is probably there. - Pat

RE: Preston-Dade Co., Missouri
I appreciate the photos you have put on the memorials of Elizabeth and John! It's the first I've seen of any. I've worked to connect as many of the children and parents on Find A Grave so what information I have on them should be reached by clicking on the names. Elizabeth was a sister of my g-grandfather, Daniel Hunt, who is buried in the Round Grove Cem. in Lawrence Co., MO as is their mother, Elizabeth Allen Hunt.
